Implementation [1]
The implementation phase standards focus on timely, evidence-based, cross-disciplinary management of project activities and resources, in close collaboration with CRS partners.
With a solid design and timely start-up, projects should begin implementation with a strong chance of success. But adaptation is fundamental to effective project management, and dynamic emergency and development programming contexts can disrupt even the best-laid plans. The implementation phase project management standards address this reality and include key actions to help staff anticipate, identify, and effectively manage risks, opportunities, and issues arising during projects.
Download the After-action review guidance for the CRS project cycle [2] to reflect on achievement against the project management standards at the end of the implementation phase.
